Tanning
Airbrush Tanning Single Session
25 min $65.00
Preparation of Skin Exfoliating: With a dry brush or other appropriate product is recommended before your spray tan. Removing loose, dead, dry skin cells will allow an even application of sunless solution and will improve and extend your tan.
To prepare for your service: Your skin should be clean and dry with no soap residue or lotions. You will also want to shave before your tan and avoid bar soap. Do not apply deodorant or perfumes to the skin prior to tanning. It is recommended you remove makeup before the tanning process, but it is not absolutely necessary.
What to Bring: Please bring a dark bathing suit to wear while being sprayed. You may also tan nude depending on personal comfort. You will need dark-colored, loose-fitting clothing to wear home along with flip flop sandals. (no socks) Please bring any hair ties or clips you will need as your hair should be pulled back and up off of your face.
Immediately Following Your Tan: Wait no less than eight hours before bathing Do not exercise or sweat. This will allow the DHA bronzer enough time to begin the reaction process. You may put on regular/tighter clothing about two hours after your spray tan.
Your First Shower: After eight hours have passed, you are now ready to shower. Use an alcohol-free shower gel. The cosmetic bronzer which was visible immediately after being sprayed will wash off during your first shower. Gently wash your skin. Do not scrub.
Maintenance: Using a moisturizer twice a day will help to extend the length of your tan. Also, there are moisturizers that are available with a light DHA bronzer in them to extend the look of a UV tan or sunless tan. Keeping your skin hydrated and moist is key to caring for your skin. Note that hot tubs and pools may affect the length of your tan due to Chlorine.
Additional Information: We recommend that after every five weeks of spray-tanning, let your skin rest for 10 days. This allows you to completely lose your sunless tan periodically, which helps eliminate patchiness or uneven areas of wear. These areas are caused by normal contact with clothing and other surfaces, which cause unintended exfoliation. Sunless spray results will vary by individual. We use a solution made with Dihydroxyacetone. DHA is an FDA approved simple carbohydrate compound that is derived from plant sources such as beet sugar and causes natural tanning of the skin when applied at the right concentration.
